Ever been inside a whale? Sure you have. Okay, it wasn't some enormous real fish like the one in the story of Jonah, but we've all experienced that "runaway-from-God" moment, where we find ourselves swallowed up by the consequences of our own disobedience. Jonah certainly knew that feeling in a very real, confined, dark, and smelly way. But even though we've all rebelled, the most fantastically wild and wonderfully amazing truth is that God's mercy is greater than our messes, and His grace is greater than our rebellion. And that's the message God wants us to hear and personally embrace from the book of Jonah.
