A Conversation with Mark Stomenberg about Mental Health and Suicide

  • Grace Community Church 7427 Wellington Road 30 Guelph, ON, N1H 6J2 (map)

Parents/guardians are on the frontlines everyday of navigating and caring for the next generation. To do so without talking about mental health would be to ignore a rising reality for so many young people. Mark Stromenberg will be joining us Oct 12th from 6-8pm to lead the difficult but necessary conversation around mental health and suicide.

Mark works for Hashtag Hope, a Canadian charity that exists to spread awareness, resource people, and prevent suicide. Before joining Hashtag Hope, Mark was a local YFC/Youth Unlimited worker. He also was a trainer for ASIST, a two-day suicide intervention training course run by LivingWorks Education. He loves the church and families - and desires to help parents/caretakers do their best to support young people on their mental health journey.
